Capital Cooling are proud to reveal we have been nominated for a Catering Insight award.

Taking place on Thursday, November 28th, the ceremony will be hosted at the Grand Banking Hall in London.

On Monday, it was announced that Capital Cooling were up for a Supplier: Business Development award at the annual event. To qualify for the nomination, manufacturers or suppliers have to have significantly developed their marketing, sales channels, or relationships with dealers.

For the Business Development nomination, Catering Insight cited Capital Cooling’s business model development.

Over the past year, Capital Cooling has seen a new CEO, Steve Steadman who has brought with him a wealth of experience from large, blue-chip companies and other industry manufacturers.

His appointment has created rapid growth and expansion, part of this is due to the rebrand. This, along with a new website, and a drove of new staff members across all areas of the business including finance, sales, research and development, and project management has solidified our place as a prominent supplier within the equipment industry.

In an effort to support trade further, and acknowledged by Catering Insight, was our removal of e-commerce features and the unveiling new trade prices, which allows dealer partners to make larger margins.

Notably, our decision to offer free glass doors with our Galaxy integral multidecks, to reduce energy consumption, sent shockwaves through the industry and was one of the other influences for our nomination.

Capital Cooling were also recognised for our latest alliances, including our recent memberships to the buying group ENSE and AutoQuotes’ quotation and design platform. As well as our stock increase, having added Ilsa Refrigeration and Gastronorm chillers and freezers to our portfolio.

We would like to thank Catering Insight for our nomination, it is a great privilege.
