Capital Cooling Provides BSC Level 2 Health & Safety Qualifications for All Staff
As part of our commitment to Health & Safety we have embarked on a program of providing all staff, both office and field based, with the opportunity to complete the British Safety Council Level 2 Award in Health & Safety.
Operating safely in our day to day activities is our number one priority and by providing this training to all staff it enables us to take a proactive approach to ensuring that this happens. All staff throughout the company, including all engineers, managers and directors, have taken part in the courses ensuring that Health & Safety is part of the company culture from the very top.
All managers and supervisors have taken part in the BSC Supervising Staff Safely level 2 program that involves a mixture of classroom, practical exercises and a formal exam while all company directors have taken part in the Health & Safety for Directors which involves all of the above and also the formulation of a health and safety plan for the organisation.
Capital Cooling’s Health & Safety Manager Alan Taylor was the driving force behind the roll out of this training – “I was very pleased after putting together a plan to train the company in Health and Safety matters to use British Safety Council (BSC) courses to achieve this. We are currently an accredited centre and provider of BSC Courses so it made perfect business sense. This has been met with a very positive reaction throughout the company since starting this project and certainly a huge step going forward in upgrading the way we do things in the company always ensuring safety is paramount at all times is a must in today’s business.”
